The IPL tournament is strategically divided into 10 weekly segments - 9 regular segments plus an exciting final segment. Each segment runs from Monday to Sunday, with point values increasing as the tournament progresses to keep even late-joining participants fully engaged.
Segment Bonus Points
Top performers in each segment earn bonus points (20–40 points based on the last match value). This allows players to make comebacks even after falling behind early.
Final Segment (Playoffs)
The final segment features high-stakes matches with 270 total points and special prediction rules. This is your chance to make dramatic comebacks or cement your lead!
Progressive Point Values
Point values for matches gradually increase throughout the tournament, ensuring that every prediction remains significant, even in the later stages of the competition.
3. Making Predictions
Weekly Predictions & Deadlines
Every week, you'll predict the winner and Man of the Match (MOTM) for all matches in that segment. This simple weekly prediction system makes our fantasy game perfect for busy people!
Important Deadlines
Weekly deadline: Monday at 7:00 PM IST (30 minutes before first match)
Mid-week changes: Allowed before first match on Friday (90% points for weekend matches if changed)
Points System
Correct match winner
Earn match points (varies by match, increases throughout tournament)
Correct winner + MOTM
Earn 2x match points (double the rewards!)
Incorrect match winner
0 points (but don't worry, there are other ways to win!)
Mid-week changes
90% of normal points (small penalty for late changes)
4. Special Features
Our fantasy platform includes unique features that give everyone a chance to win, even if they're behind in the standings. These special features make the game exciting throughout the entire tournament!
Fire & Ice Bonus
Available from segment 3, this feature gives bottom-half players special powers!
Correct predictions: 1.5x points
Incorrect predictions: -0.5x penalty
Limited to max 3 Fire & Ice weeks per player
Nostradamus Bonus
Predict tournament outcomes for big bonus points (120 total possible)
Predict:
• Orange Cap Winner
• Purple Cap Winner
• Tournament MVP
Points:
• Before Match 39: 40 points each
• Before Match 55: 20 points each
Playoff Predictions
Predict which 4 teams will make the playoffs for bonus points
Requirements:
• Predict before Match 47
• Select 4 teams you think will make playoffs
Points:
• 4 correct teams: 90 points
• 3 correct teams: 40 points
5. Final Segment (Playoffs) Rules
For playoff matches (71-74), special prediction options apply based on when you choose to submit. Choose your strategy wisely!
Option 1: Early Commitment
Predict all playoff matches at once before they begin
Rules:
Predict all 4 matches before Match 71
Full points for Qualifier 1 & 2 (Matches 71-72)
Points for Finals (Matches 73-74) only if first two predictions are correct
Option 2: Semi-Adaptive
Split your predictions between the early and later matches
Rules:
Predict Qualifier 1 & 2 (Matches 71-72) before Match 71
Predict Eliminator & Final (Matches 73-74) before Match 73
Second set of predictions worth 50% normal points
Final match points only awarded if Eliminator prediction is correct
Option 3: Fully Adaptive
Predict each match individually as the tournament unfolds
Rules:
Predict each playoff match separately before it begins
Decreasing point values for later predictions:
• Qualifier 1 & 2: 100% points
• Eliminator: 50% points
• Final: 25% points
Each match evaluated independently (no dependencies)
6. Additional Rules
Missed Predictions
If you miss a prediction deadline, the system automatically selects the home team and the home team captain as your default predictions.
Disputes & Tiebreakers
In case of ties in the final standings, winners will be determined by the most correct MOTM predictions, followed by head-to-head records.
